Home for the Holidays this Saturday, December 7th, 7:30pm

The Fresno Philharmonic is hosting their annual grand holiday performance this Saturday, December 7th, 7:30pm at the William Saroyan Theatre in downtown Fresno. This is one local signature event that you don’t want to miss! I attended their performance last year and I was over the moon impressed with the sheer size and scope of the chorus and symphony itself. If you are looking for something festive and fun to spice up your weekend or holiday season then put this on your calendar now.

There will be both sacred and secular numbers performed and definitely offers something for all people of faith or those who choose not to practice religion at all. Here is some copy from the event page…

Fresno’s annual holiday musical tradition returns. Music Director Rei Hotoda welcomes Canadian singer-songwriter Steve Bell and his band for an evening of spiritual and secular songs of the season. The Fresno Philharmonic will be joined by the Fresno Master Chorale for this joyous concert of beloved seasonal favorites.

This year’s performance features special guest Steve Bell. Tickets are on sale both in person and online. Find out more about the event after the jump!
